These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of this website and your engagement with psychotherapy services provided by Kiara Bramley (Kiara Bramley Psychology, HPCSA registration PS0165379) at 300 Kruger Avenue, Centurion 0157. By booking, attending, or using this website, you agree to these Terms.

1. Scope of Services

• Psychological services are offered as professional support, not as guaranteed outcomes.
• Services may include in-person sessions, online sessions, assessments, and related therapeutic interventions where clinically appropriate.
• Therapy is collaborative. Your participation, honesty, and consistency materially influence progress.

2. Appointments, Cancellations, and No-Shows

• Appointments are confirmed subject to availability.
• At least 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations or no-shows may be charged at the full session rate unless exceptional circumstances apply.
• If you are late, the session may still end at the scheduled time and the full fee may remain payable.

3. Fees, Billing, and Payments

• Applicable fees are communicated before services are rendered.
• Payment is generally due on the day of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Outstanding balances may result in suspension of future bookings until accounts are brought up to date.
• If medical aid claims are submitted, you remain responsible for any shortfalls, exclusions, or rejected claims.

4. Confidentiality and Records

Confidentiality is maintained in line with POPIA and HPCSA ethical rules. Information may only be disclosed with your consent or where disclosure is required by law or professional duty (for example, serious risk of harm, court order, or statutory reporting requirements). Clinical records are retained for the legally required period.

5. Telehealth and Technology

• Online sessions are conducted through appropriate platforms, but no technology is entirely risk-free.
• You are responsible for a private environment, stable connection, and suitable device when attending online.
• Session recordings are not made unless specifically agreed beforehand.

6. Emergency and Crisis Care

This practice does not provide 24/7 emergency services. If you are in immediate danger or crisis, contact emergency services, your nearest hospital, or an emergency mental health service immediately. Nearest 24-hour hospital for Centurion clients:

7. Website Use

• Website content is for general information and does not replace professional advice or therapy.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, this practice is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of this website or services. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where exclusion is unlawful.

9. Professional Boundaries and Conduct

Respectful communication and conduct are expected at all times. Harassment, threats, abusive conduct, or inappropriate boundary violations may result in termination of services and referral to alternative support where possible.

10. Termination of Services

Either party may discontinue services. Where appropriate, reasonable notice, referral options, and continuity planning will be provided in line with ethical obligations.

11. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time. The latest version will be posted on this page, with an updated date. Continued use of the website or services after changes indicates acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of competent South African courts.
